It's interesting to see how Hitler's views changed troughout the 30's and into the 40's. As his power became more consolidated, he became a bit more narrowed on his ideal superace (which ironically he didn't even fit the mold for).

They're institutionalized by now, I don't think they care. Prison walls, prison food and prison death are all they will ever know and they've accepted that.
And for what? I understand being adamant about something you believe in, but if it's going to get you life in prison and most people think you're an asshole for it, what's the point?

In the prison systems it becomes all about pride and respect- so much so that it overtakes the importance of getting out. I think the cons who successfully make it and stay out realize that when someone "disrespects" you it doesn't mean you have to retaliate.
Of course when you strip a man of everything sometimes all you have left are pride and respect....
