so, I got a new phone as noted and I love this thing! Windows Mobile, full qwerty keyboard, great screen, edge, and best of all wifi built in! Sitting here at the Vegas airport surfing at full wifi speed, it's very nice.

My friend has one. He needed the email capability more than anything else. He said the thing is death on batteries though............needs to recharge once a day.

but yours has edge and wifi which is badass...

yeah, Kurtis, it's a battery hog, I charge it up every day. All those features use a lot of engergy. And, you're right Number2, Edge and (especially) WiFi rock!

my internet is slow....like 56k...but i only pay 5.99 for it, so i can't complain...

You think about carrying a spare battery? If you get caught in an airport with no power it could end up just being a small paperweight.

I had a windows based phone before and it kept freezing up on me and at times would not even answer calls because I was out of memory!!!!

it is a Linux based phone. Look at the pictures - especially when you flip it open it has a touch screen on the inside and a full PDA with web , email ... lots of games.

Even has EDGE but no WiFi. - thats ok though EDGE is good for now. I have the $5.99 plan as well and can use if to access all the web pages !!!! T-Mobile is awesome when it comes to that.

it is not available at any T-Mobile places.

It is a quad-band GSM Unlocked phone that was only released in China --- I think a year ago. so it works on any GSM network. I can tell you how to set it up for web and picture messages - takes 2 minutes!

you can purchase it on line or on ebay . I got mine on ebay from "something" wireless <= user name . I can look up who if you are interested. and it cost me about $230 with shipping. ebay guy thew in "free" case and car charger.

oh yea... and this phone links to the Gs bluetooth and works absolutely wonderfully !!! better then my other 2 phones I tried and people can now hear me perfectly when I talk !!! - I love it!
