Arrow Xmas gift exchange - part 2

Okay I think the old thread is getting a little too difficult to navigate so im starting a new one. Any posts not directly related to the gift exchange will be deleted.

So far the people signed up are: (revised 11.15.06)
1. Gamma
2. JL9618
3. Superdude
4. Zoomzoomers
5. Beanie
6. Gzire
7. Phelan
8. jayelleseven
9. Neftali
10. Solo_Cx11

It was suggested by Gamma in the other thread that the last day to submit participation in the exchange is November 22nd - the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. All gifts should be shipped out by December 15th.

Tentative rules are as follows (please post any suggestions for changes). Please note that I took these rules from another site's gift exchange so some things may not be applicable. Also, there needs to be a person that will be in charge of this (to distribute people's addresses, pick the names, etc).

Requirement
This is open to all (forum members) who registered on the site by Sep 30 2006.
The minimum is US$20. Recommended US$25. You can go over but thats up to you.

Pairing will be totally random.

The person you send to may not be the person who sends you a gift.

How To Enter
To enter, please reply to this post.
At a later date, you will be asked to p
rovide your Username, Full Name, Address and a Cell number to the person in charge of the exchange.

Deadlines

We want all emails with wish lists in by Oct 30.

We will send off the paired information by Nov 15

You have exactly a month, until Dec 15, to send off the gift.

Gifts MUST reach the recipient by xmas eve, Dec 24.

You will be banned for 6 months for failure to come through.

Packaging Requirements

The packaging must be worksafe. Feel free to stick another box inside with the usual (forum) stuff, but the outside of the box needs to be work friendly.

You must provide tracking numbers.

Apologies to the other forum for copying their rules. They have been doing this for a couple years now and seem to get it down pretty well

Atta Girl Beanie, way to take the initiative!

So, now what. How do I know who I have to buy a gift for? And should I just make my wishlist public?

There has to be someone in charge that can take care of who is participating and do a drawing to determine who gets who.

Wishlists are an optional idea. They are good sometimes if you have no idea what to get someone, but surprises can be more fun. Also, not sure if there should be guidelines on what is allowed... that's totally up to you guys. If one person buys a "valid" gift and in return gets something completely crap, it can get kind of ugly... (just an observation from other gift exchanges)

Other members should participate too. I think that everyone here knows each other enough to make this fun.

I would volunteer to organize this thing but between a busy work schedule, putting my car back together and my normal procastination I would probably piss everyone off by having the gift exchange next year lol. Anyway, I can provide some assistance if needed tho....

yeah, make a wishlist pick 5 to 8 thinks you really like, that no matter what, you will always appreciate the gift. could be free movie tickets, could be something with the Miami Heat logo on it (within $20 to $40 range of course), could be your favorite music genre etc etc etc.

Part of my wishlist will include a box of JHP ammo. It's always nice to get a box of ammo for Xmas

^^^man, I'm not greedy . . . a box of 25 or 50 rounds will be good enough. Run you anywhere from $20 to $40 depending on quantity and quality. I'm not asking for a case, jeez, you'd think I was some wacko in waco or somethin'
