I am surprised the "unproven" drug would reach the market. Typically the FDA is very strict on what can and cannot be marketed.

That seems to be the concern. The CEO has claimed to have an AIDS cure in the works for a while now. All that being said, anything to help the hardcore addicts is a step in the right direction imo

If their drug treatment truly works, then yes. Unfortunately there are still drugs that reach the market that meet the FDA's stringent requirements and they still have some pretty bad sideffects or don't work at all.

It just seems that this guy is trying to catch some poor desparate guys in their moment of need.
