Too bad for Rossi. I was when he low sided. I started jumping in the air and then eventually feeling sorry for the guy because he is just a nice guy. There's no doubt he is still the best in the business. Period. Yamaha simply sucked a donkey's azz (should have never left Honda ).
Yeah, i saw it.....I couldn't believe it when Rossi went down, particularly given what happened at Estoril a few weeks back.....man.....talk about irony. I was happy for Nicky but a but bummed by the fact that there was so little drama in the race after that point. Looks like it could've been a great finish to the season if he hadn't gone down.
I read somewhere else that Elias' pass at the wire two weeks before cost Rossi 5 points...the same amount he lost the championship by!

Yup the minute Rossi went down, the race went from exciting to blah in a hurry. Hayden was in good contention to win regardless. If there's one thing Rossi's not good at, it would be his starts.
Elias did steal 1st from Rossi by a hair at the last race. That certainly helped Nicky, if not in morale at the very least.
What a season.
Next year will be very interesting. 800c, the new Ilmor bike, etc. I can't wait!
