Good stuff. They look pretty damn good too. But you gotta wonder. For the amount of money and time spent into building the clones, wouldn't it have been better to get the original? I guess it all depends on the individual.

I hear you. The overhead is not quite as bad if you're a professional builder/restorer, which that cheat Sbarro is. I would say production cost for him was no more than 100,000 and then get a phat check for over 1 mill when complete ... that's not a bad strategy at all. The authenticity of the car being the key to the million dollar check.
I likey. The only thing is with these whales driving around now I'd be scared to drive it around. Then again, you probably wouldn't get hit by a SUV, it would probably drive right over the top of the car.

It's a replica of course. The real ones are extremely rare. In addition to the very limited production run in the 50s, most of them were disintegrated from crashes.
........and as far as the loud thing, it reminds me of when the Brit (the best troll we have ever had here) said he drove up in his Lotus and revved the engine outside of a fine dining establishment. I had to laugh at that and the responses it drew.

You bet!
I gave Dizz a ride in it once and I think he crapped in his pants.
His gated community neighbors defintiely didn't appricate it when I showed up around 10pm.
The gate keeper was amused tho!
My uncle had like 3 Pontiac Fiero's back in the day. He had a regular 4 banger and two V6 GT's. None of them had any balls to save it's life, but it did handle relatively ok for the day.
