Default Hey Smoke! What is up with your school??

That was one crazy brawl! Up to par with the Detroit vs Indiana brawl, if not worse.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=1JWeE9KqZjQ

Stomping, cleating, using your helmet, etc etc I thought I was watching the end scene of the move, "The Wanderers" 1979 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080117/ where the football players brawl it up with street gangs! Crazy shit man. I didn't know FIU had such beef with Univ of Miami.

What gives?

FIU has got a lot of balls to do what they did. Football wise, they aren't even in the same league as Miami . . . by the way, that was a very biased announcer rootin' for Miami. For a second, I thought he was going to go down there himself.

Once again, I never heard of FIU until this past year. First it was the hot teacher, and students that are cheerleaders for the Heat, now this. Interesting school.

Could be. Also competition is fierce up there and some of these guys could have bad blood going back to high school.

In any case, there had to have been some signs of a potential powder keg before the fight started. The coaches and refs let this thing get out of hand. Someone needs to get suspended or fired. In the wake of the recent NFL incident it is clear what kind of injuries can be sustained.

Wouldn't be the first time that the wild Zima was a contributor to wild behavior:

Since the announcer was so biased and somewhat encouraged this behaviour, he was subsequently fired by comcast. Oh well.

A few more FIU players were also dismissed.

Smoke, why do FIU students have so much pent up frusturation?

Wouldn't that be, because they go to FIU??? Especially, since they did get it on with Miami.

Probably a lot of trash talking about the game. When the it didn't live up to the hype, it was go time.
