Default About how much do you guys spend on food+drink per month?

I just paid off my credit card balance and once again I noticed how hard it is to make money and yet so easy to spend. My balance keeps getting smaller and smaller and smaller . . .

So I'm trying to see about how much I spend per month on food and drink. This approximate amount also includes how many times I cover the wifey (it goes back and forth of course) and my cousin who's fresh out of college. This also includes my bar tab . . .

For the past 30 days, I'm around $400.

At my peak, I was spending around $500 to $550.

Is that a lot? We rarely cook so I would guess that's a lot, right?

About how much do you spend? Roughly?

Anybody else, who doesn't live at home and is not an entrepeneur?

I don't live at home, and I spend a fuck-ton, esp since I have a gf, she gets expensive. I probably spend about 400 a month on food. Drink, that is a different story, as I go through a keg a week and usually can't get it paid back through parties, mine are small.

About $1200/mo. but that is for 3 of us. So $400 sounds about right if your eating well and going out to dinner once or twice a week.

FF, that doesn't include groceries, right? If that's the case, then I don't feel so bad.

I guess I keep comaring myself to my dad who is incredibly cheap. He used to tell me that he wouldn't spend more than $40 a week when he was working. $40 That's like one dinner plus drinks for myself $40

Fraid not, that does include groceries. But my bar bill is pretty low since I don't drink.

^^^You may live longer and have more money in your pocket because you don't drink man. I think that's a good habit to have.

^^^Where do you live? When I was going to SDSU, the best thing on Tuesday night was the $0.25 hamburger night at McDonald's. Santana's is pretty cheap considering what you get.

I go to UCSD, so i live on miramesa. So many resturants as u probably know. Just constantly eating out. O man, santana's is so good, its defintly worth the cash. Ever go to roberto's? All my friends like it, but i just think its a tortilla, something that resembles meat, and a lot of grease.

Roberto's . . . I only go there if that's the only thing around. Yeah, there are lots of good places to eat out there, but after a while you get so sick of fast food.
