^^^ Dude I write off EVERYTHING I can. Being 1099 has it's advantages. When we go out drinking I usually ask one of my friends if they need a loan or are looking for a house- they usually say no but since business was discussed, it is now a write off Only 50% of dining and entertainment is deductible though.

Finally stopped to read this thread and it got me thinkng. By my best guess, I spend about $600 - $700 a month on food & drink (including groceries). Drop a good $150 off that if I didn't have a g/friend; I also have my daughter two weekends a month, but she's just 10...doesn't eat a whole lot!
^^^ hahaha it's the girlfriend thing that always has my Amex looking extra ugly at the end of the month lol.
yeah, even being single can get costly tho..
