I'm leaving on Sunday and will be back on the 25th... 10 day trip. I have family there but i'm not going to visit them at all. My grandma and I are taking a tour that goes through Northern Japan and ends up in Tokyo. Should be fun ^__^

Sounds like a great trip! It's just you and your grandma? That sounds really cool. Take lots of pics. Do you speak Japanese?

yeah, it's just the 2 of us. She is taking me as a graduation present - and so she has someone to travel with. Luckily she speaks Japanese because I don't I took a class once but it's been at least 5 years since then so I don't remember much at all

I can understand some... mostly from watching Japanese dramas than listening to my family speak it since barely any of them speak Japanese anymore

Graduation... it's a confusing story I was supposed to graduate last December from San Jose State with an MBA but still haven't turned in one of my papers. So many things have come up that it keeps getting delayed

^^^shiit, I know your pain. Believe me I do. Congrats regardless. Enjoy your trip! I bet you that once you start drinking and you are surrounded with nothing but Japanese conversations, your tongue will loosen and you'll be able to say more than a few phrases.
