So... I guess there is a new counter system place . It shows that you have over so many posts but not the exact number of posts that you have.

Interesting....

I like the old system better.....

but hell I guess I can live

with this one.

What do you Guys Think???

I'll be happy once I reach 1k, before they switched, I only had like 20 to go. This will help keep PWing down if the most is "over 10,000". So I kind of like the change.

I think Hexx had over 23k something, and it says "over 10,000 posts" for him.

I think it is a great way of doing it. I think the real important thing is the join date, that shows more I think than post counts. If you have been around for 6 months or so you have lost your noobie wings.

Hey Gard, so does the new count measure in increments of 500? As in over 500, over 2,500, over 8,500 posts etc etc?

By the way, I tried to edit my signature and it gave me a character limit of 100!

I've got new mods and did the absolute best I could do to shrink it and I can't get it under 100! I abbreviated as best as I could do. For now, I'm just going to leave it the way it is.

yes the limit on the signature sucks! need to do away with the limit or the signature completely!

I have a feeling the limit on signatures is because of the crazy signatures that people had back in the day that would take up like half the screen. Most of the limitations that have been placed are because of people abusing (for lack of a better word) the system before.
