I don't understand why some care so much for actual post count? Doesn't it seem if you care and want to know what post count you're at you have a greater chance of PWing with useless crap to achieve a certain number? What other purpose would it serve to have the actual number being shown?

We figured this would be a happy medium for everyone, but we could always just take it away all together.

I'll check to see if we can increase the sig size a bit more.

If you kill it then there is no way to know if a user actually knows what they are talking about / has been around the forum for some time. (PWing aside!!)

Thats one of the ways that I judge if I trus the answers I read on here!!!! SO THERE MUST BE A RATING SYSTEM!!!

True statement.....
There's ppl who been members for a long time w/small post counts.
Just reading the posts can make you very well informed and educated more so than a person with high post counts. Posting count doesn't mean $hit, except being an official PW. No pun intented.

My general consenses and opinion on PW'ing.....be given three warnings, if not stopped, be BANNED for an X amount of time.
It really makes the Search tool useless when you have to read pages and pages of crap to get the answer your looking for.
That's not what this or any fourm is intented for, except for the 'anything goes' or 'TOT' sections. That's where PW'ing should be done if ppl feel they must do that.
