Default F1 Season ending race.....

Man the race at Suzuka was crazy.

I thought that we were going to be less one race worker after there was no local caution to pick up that rear 1/2 axle. Then Michael's engine goes kablooie!

It's a close one and I guess Michael might still be able to pull it out, but he's going to need some help.

Wow ... no one saw that one coming with MS's engine letting go. Alonso is one lucky son of a bitch! That's twice he walked away unscathed. A few races ago he saw his wheel nut come off, handing the lead to MS only to see MS taken out wiht a broken steering rack.

This is Formula One where anything can happen!

^^^True, but one can also say that Schumie was very lucky to begin with that Alonso's nut came off.

It is a really wacky season.

Suzuka was a great race. Stranger things have happened.

Is it just me or are people now cheering for MS just because he's now announced his retirement. I just don't want to see him take another championship.

So when are we going to see flying cars in F1?

^^^Well everyone likes a winner and Michael is that........but yes it does seem like there is a bit more sentiment out there for him since he finally announced his retirement.

Don't know about the flying cars since it violates that no moveable aerodynamic parts rule (the one that started this whole mass damper thing).

However I am interested to see how JPM will fare in NASCAR next year. He's a lot smaller than those rednecks and doesn't have the best of personalities.

And has shown a tendancy to run people off the track already...he'll fit right in with the bumpin'.

Ferrari is unconditionally loved in many parts of the world for no reasons other than a popularity contest. The Japanese embrace them quite freakishly too.

It's called the Reno Air Race!

Will they allow bump drafting since it's billed as a NASCAR type race?

I think NASCAR should just have open cars and have bats in one hand. So they can hit each other down the track as they race. Now I would pay to see that.

I'm thinking something more in the lines of Deathrace 2000 would be more appropriate.
