Byron Nelson passes away.

Wow...........you'd think he'd live forever, but Byron Nelson passed away at 94. He was one of the true gentlemen of the sport and one that will be sorely missed.

He is one of the true gentlemen of the sport. Quite a remarkable man and walked away from the competitive tour (he still played a few events over the years) when he was at the height of his abilities.

Golf is like no other sport. Just imagine if you had the greats (of other sports) of yesteryear still able to play and promote the game............
