I think I've finally decided to get one ... mainly to kill time during air travel transients.
I'm not fully updated on the latest (yet). So far, I'm aware of the specific TA-082 revision that is not (yet) hackable and to be avoided. Where can I find the 'mod' friendly ones out there? No eBays plz!
Also is there an easy way to identify the TA-082 revision w.o. looking in the UMD drive?

LoL ... I guess you don't realize there's more than meets the eyes with your PSP.
It's able to play all the legacy console game (Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Gamboy, Gameboy Advance, Sega Genesis, Apple II, Amiga, etc. .... too many to list)

... get one w/ either firmware 1.5 or 2.0, other than that you're pretty much stuck!!
There is also a rumor these things play games (i'm serious)...i don't know, i have 2, one is serving as wireless access point (c'mon hackers) & the other for movies & such when on these long ass flights & vicoden wears off!!

I'm thinking about getting one too...but probably not. I'd get bored of it quickly.
BTW, how would you like to trade your 24" Dell for TWO 20.1" Dells? One is 4:3 and the other is 16:10. 2007 series...

You know, I was actually going through some of the software library for the DS and have to admit I was a bit surprised by the vast selections. It has Madden '07. Wow! Starfox Command also looked interesting. The use of dual screens made some of those games appear quite interesting.
Well that means only one thing.
