i never figured it out!
You need at least firmware 2.0 and wireless internet access.

I don't yet own a PSP just yet, so I can't tell you all the INs and OUTs yet. Ask Neftali ... he seems pretty up to speed with all that.

Nef ya hear?

yeah, all u need is updated firmware, i actually believe it was an earlier version, before 2 that allowed you to do it. You just download the firmware from sony's website, load it on ur mem stick, throw in ur PSP and update from there. Or if u have a fairly recent game, they should have recent firmware updates on that. Then u just turn on ur PSP for wi-fi, find a spot and just connect to the internet, you should have an internet option on ur main PSP window. Alot of work, but i guess its worth it if your just chilling. Plus, the LCD on the PSP is a real beaut.

Being an excellent gaming device, browser, and media player. Although, any larger I'd be drawn away from it as well, but that's the price one has to pay for a decent sized screen.
Dude, no kidding about the PDA, its fine if you dont want to carry a laptop, but to get one with decent screen is almost as expensive as buying a laptop. I actually just sold my PDA, gonnn just stick with 14 inch laptop. And PDAs have nothing on the PSP as far screen quality, thats why i still think the PSP is the most expensive mirror ive ever bought.

Well im a huge closet nerd, but yeah, i know what you mean, time is hard pressed to find to play games nowadays, especially compared to my 10-15 hours a week in high school ( yup, was a fat kid addicted to games, how stereotypical), but just gotta buy it for the sake of buyin it.

yeah, its using the standard 802.11 b signal, so it should just connect without problems. Very odd. Anyone with suggestions?

Well, I just picked up the PSP tonight. Wow, this sucker's definitely neat. Dude already did all the leg work with the hack + emulators (preloaded in the memory stick). In no time, I was up and playing SNES Super Mario World and Street Fighter II. Too cool!

I was also able to setup the WiFi and browse the internet w.o. any hitches. This thing has firmware 2.0. Internet worked fine, but was a bit slow.

JL7,
You'll have to check your Wireless router settings and be sure you're running WEP and get the key setup. All other settings for the PSP browers should work fine on 'automatic' settings.

The PSP is defintly sexy. the internet is a pain as far as typing, is ther a attachable keyboard yet, or some sort perpherial for it, cause its a pain to type each individual letter in.
