So, I now realize the DS has an amazing library of games. PSP actually pales in that respect in comparison. Allegedly the DS was out selling the PSP in Japan by a factor of 10:1 (at one point), so it's no wonder.
I'm going to end up getting a PSP only because someone offered me a rocking deal for a PSP with lots of goodies. Luckily beanie has her DS, so I can always use that too. I think I will still get that game (above) for her ... or really for me. Ha ha!
i went to E3 this year... u can expect the ps3 out late this year or early next year but for sure when i asked the sony rep there he said its going to retail for $499 for the basic and $599 for the loaded one but they're both blueray disk players... a current blueray player retails for $1200
Hold up, u guys are telling me the PSP does all these things? I just thought it was a really expensive mirror. But seriously, i barely use the thing. And who seriously shells out for UMDs. Guess im just to lazy to use mem stick, especially when I have a PDA, portable laptop, and a ipod, which all individually handle media better than the PSP in my opinion. Still waiting on a killer game for the system. Any final fantasy fans out there, this is the only thing im waiting for. Well at least the PSP is pretty.

Too bad the PS3 was delayed in Europe and the total number shipped on Nov. 17th has been cut down by almost 75%. looks like North America will only be seeing 400,000 units. Man if I can get ahold of one of those, cant imagine what i can sell it for on ebay. im guessing double.
HEHE...the Wii looks really impressive actually, im considering getting both. But damn, i thought the name revolution sounded so much better.
man i really doubt ill get the PS3... how many of us actually use these systems.. portable or not.. that often??
its not like having a wkend whip to cruise in.. these things jus collect dust_
theres too many other media type devices out there to name any single one.. number one or the best value_

No joke. It'll do all that and then some.
Agreed w. the UMD. I don't love the idea of dropping bux on UMDs.
I'm quite particular about not being tied done with bulky items while I'm on the go. For that reason, laptops are out. Otherwise, I'd agree a laptop is the ultimate multi-media gadget. On the other hand, PDAs have screens that are too small (and often not bright enough) nor the horsepower and interface for a solid gaming experience. PSP seems to be just right. Being an excellent gaming device, browser, and media player. Although, any larger I'd be drawn away from it as well, but that's the price one has to pay for a decent sized screen.
