So this may be in the "you had to be there" realm, but I thought it was funny.
We have a burger chain out here (I think it is West Coast only) called In-and-Out. It has almost a cult like following. On any given night, you can see cars lined up to get their burgers until all hours.
Anyhoo, besides the VERY basic menu, they have a "secret menu" that people can order. One of these versions is what is called "Animal Style" where they grill the onions and the bun.
So the other night I'm there and this very lovely gal goes up to the cashier and orders her double-double "Doggy Style". The cashier was flabergasted and the line of people LOL. Her date corrected her. (and perhaps got lucky later).
Here's a link to show you the secret menu is real:
^^^DOOOOD, you need to watch that clip man! That's one of the greatest ones I've ever posted EVER.
Back on topic:
My standard order: 3x2 (3 meat, 2 slices of cheese) Mustard and Ketchup instead (i can't stand thousand island dressing) and Grilled onions.
MMMM MMMMm Good.
This menu is old news. I've only seen one guy, one skinny Asian kid, order a 4x4 at the In-N-Out by UCLA. I saw him pick it up and I had to say something, "Man, I guess you're hungry!" He goes, "Yup, I'mma starving student." That guy didn't look like he didn't weigh a pound over 150. I remember when I used to have metabolism like that
Is a So. Cal burger chain...with location to Vegas and Phoenix I believe. If ANYONE comes to SoCal, you gotta have one of these burgers. They're pretty damn tasty.
I had lunch there this week with some colleagues. One of them, who I consider a friend of mine, said that the burgers at In-N-Out and McDonald's don't taste that much different.
You should of heard the WTF??? from the rest of us. Poor guy had to shield himself from us saying he was wrong.
