Phelan, you haven't tried one. Even though I agree with you that home made sirloin burgers are gooood, don't knock it until you try it.
nope, but i'd wager that 95% of all fast food burgers are the same 80% lean (maybe 85% at best) ground chuck with no seasoning in the meat cooked fast assembly line style on a big ass metal hotplate or a gas grill.

got no smile and lack a lavish lifestyle but its cool cuz I came up hungry, jus a lil Latino tryin to make it and when I make it.. I promise the world wont lightly take it.
there's actually a place in san francisco called joe's cablecar...all they serve is daily ground ribeye burgers. it's pricey but well worth it. i actually grind my own ribeye on occasions and they rock!! so much flavor!
