Okay, so I'm standing up about to get the door and this old guy looks at me and says..
"What message are you trying to tell me?" "excuse me?"

"You're telling me you're a damn slob that's up to no good. Go back to China or wherever the hell you're from. We don't need that crap here"
He was right in my face and I was just shocked. i had no idea what to say... just speechless...
So he walks out the door and im looking around if anybody else heard.. and everyone in the starbucks was just STARING at me basically with their jaws dropped and these 2 guys were sitting on a couch near me and one of them was like... dude that was uncalled for... i apologize on his behalf even though i don't know him...
I dont know... maybe my wifebeater offended him or maybe he was just racist... but i think it was the latter because Coronado is a complete beach city (Coronado is an Island)where people wear wifebeaters everywhere and even less....

Man sorry to hear something like that happened to you. Be the bigger man and just blow it off. God knows it'll happen again, unfortunately. If I could only post all the times something like that happened to me. I spent a lot of time in the South during my military career so I'm sure you can take a wild guess about the stuff I've seen/heard/been through. Add to that that I'm 6'3" which makes everything worse as I tend to stand out in their eyes. Just remember this, arguing to an ignorant fool is like yelling at your shadow. Every time I run into a situation such as this I just remind tell myself, "you can't fix stupid!", and go on my merry way.
