Default What Would You Do... Found An Interesting Item On The Bike Trail

So I was mountain biking today in the woods, and I happened to notice what appeared to be a drivers license in the dirt. I stopped and picked it up... much to my surprise, the license belongs to an starting NFL Athlete. A few feet down the path, I found his parking pass for the NFL stadium... only it is expired. The license is still valid until 2008. I picked it up and threw the license and Parking ID card into my camelback, and continued on biking.

As I was biking, I started to realize that one of the guys who had driven by me in the opposite direction on a 4-Wheeler, happened to look very much like this NFL athlete whose license I found.

Now I'm trying to decide what to do with these 2 items.

Should I call up the NFL team and tell them that I have the guys license and ask them what to do? Should I try to call the guy up himself(I think I found his number on 411, but I'm not certain that it's him). Should I just mail it to the address on the license, even though it's in Ohio, and the license was issued in 2004, and he may not even own that residence any more?

What would you do?

do the right thing and return it...i'd either try contacting the team or mailing it to his address on the license. contacting the team would be the best bet because they will confirm with him whether or not he is missing his license.

I agree. It is a pain to get a new license, even if you are a NFL player. You might get free tickets to a game!!!

Naa, it took me five minutes and $10 on the internet to get a new license, they sent it in the mail. No waiting at the DMV for me!

What would I do? I'd contact the local Fox News Station and say I found it, now what? lol

make it a public thing that you're giving it back, this way they HAVE to reward you!
