i sold my 900 sq ft two bed two bath condo with attached garage for over 450k last summer...and that is in fremont.

the real estate out here is ridiculous. a lot of folks are moving out of the area and commuting 90 minutes into the bay area for work. if i didnt get lucky and buy my condo before the boom there is no way i would be able to afford my house now.

lol people are starting to do 60year loans on homes now... my parents bought my house 4 years ago for $361k and right now its around 900k minimum, about 3k sq.ft. built on a 6k lot.. i mean the house is nicely kept but still prices around where i live are ridiculous and its not like a rich neighborhood or anything, i'd say a nice one, all are mostly 2 story houses... one house down the street sold for 1.5mil last month...
