there's been a boom here too, we buy homes and rent them out and about 7-8 years ago you could get a home in west O for around $100k (nice part of town) and now a $100k house is in a bad area (north O) and around half the size of what you used to be able to buy for the same $.
Our Scottsdale townhome is worth about 400K now, but the same in LA would be over a million. They are selling 1 bd 1 ba condos in Culver City for $500K! Unreal! My ex's Glendora house which is 985 sq ft is $550K, but her lot is 7000 sq ft on a corner. I guess I will never be able to live in Cali again....oh well. Unless I live in the outskirts like Palm Springs.
you couldnt pay me enough to live in a 3rd world country...you might have money but the quality of life will never compare to living in the u.s.
I would move into an indigneous tribe, flash a few bucks around, become their king and have 31 wives.......now thats quality to me.......or maybe just quantity....
