486sx baby 4mb ram !!!!! we have come a long way.... came with DOS 5x something and I had to install DOS 6 that came on the "real" floppy disks - I am talking about the gian flexible ones that held 700kb.
I still remember days of playing Doom/Doom2 via a 14.4 modem , how about Civilization, Duke Nukem, I can go on for ever . . .

I remember when some University in Italy put a swimsuit directory on their gopher server ... took all of Italy down with all the traffic. I should have known then, that porn is where the money was.
WOW Fastfwd (& others). Your bringing back some old memories! one of my first computer was a BLAZING 8088 Zeinth! Overclocked it to an astounding 4.7mhz processor speed!! I remember 8" floppy disks...10 MB (Mega) drives were considered HUGH!? ...remembered going up to 16 mb memory! (Lots of this was on different computers!)
Games: remember Falcon 3? It was on (2) 3.5 disks! (I thought it was a hugh program...hahahaha) Wolfenstein! Gamma, that's funny! I remember that 'cause I still have a copy of that!!!

Mmmm... Commodore 64K and the tape drives. I remember that. It was a nice piece of technology for back then. I remember I mostly played games on it. Same with the Apple IIC I had later.
