Relatives or co-workers, friends or acquiantances - every female that enters my G gets the door opened for her. It's just simple courtesy man.
For example, if I'm in a car with a woman who's driving, I never let them pump their own gas when we pull into a gas station. Ever. I always insist on doing it.
Same thing about opening doors for a lady or the elderly, or standing up when a woman leaves the table in a restaurant.
Chivalry is not dead. I wasn't raised that way I guess.
same here, i even pay for her gas....
the only time i'll stand up at a resturant is when they can't get pass me.....

I understand unlocking the door and then opening it. But our cars you just need to push the button. I don't expect a guy to open car doors for me all the time.

To be honest, after a while it becomes a force of habit. You can't help but go to the passenger side door first to open it up for a lady despite the ease of use with automatic door locks. It's not like it takes that much effort anyway.
^^^ i either park at the very first spot, so that i can park as far away from the second car and leaving both side of my car ding proof, or if none is available, i park about 5-6 spaces pass the last car....., my chick hates it when i drive to the supermarket/mall. I do the gentlemenly thing and offer to drop her off at the door while i park though...
It's a smiple thing my grandmother, God rest her soul, told me when I was very young. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Simple.
Now when I was in Georgia, at the Peacetree mall, I opened the door for these two elderly ladies. They didn't thank me, but as they walked away one said to the other, "now ain't that a nice Chinaman". I didn't know whether to be madd or laugh. Oh well.
