I too watch Smallville and it took a little getting used to coming from that to seeing this movie.. mainly with the acting styles of Spacey vs Rosenbaum and the differences between how they handle the special effects of Superman in Smallville. Martha Kent is an old bag in this movie too.
Sure, it's the "corny" things like this that make the Superman stuff funny to watch IMO, I mean, in the old TV series, it was even more obvious Clark and Superman were the same guy, no real special effects back in those days.

^^^oh you mean the one with George Reeves. You know I grew up watching that too. Of course I just saw the black and white reruns. Those were great regardless of how campy they were.
