That won't help you. There's some larger problem at work as there are people on Ars complaining of it too. Some are claiming it's the new worm intended to eliminate MSBlast. It goes around patching computers but some are saying it's even a larger bandwidth hog than the original.

However, I've not really noticed it myself. Perhaps there's a major connection down.
