Maybe he repeatedly rubbed the underside of his car like our old wind up toy cars and got his rpms up

Unless he's done some serious stuff to the car, I don't think the car's got enough power to reach 147.

I've maxed out my Prelude before. I'm sure my Lude has a lot more power and has better aero than the Hyundai. It's going to take a lot to fight off the wind at 147mph.
