NEW YORK - Home TV screens just keep getting bigger. And there's no end in sight. Panasonic pitched a tent outside the New York Stock Exchange yesterday to show off the biggest high-definition plasma screen yet.
At 103 inches, it's an inch bigger than versions being produced by Samsung and LG.
Panasonic vice president Andrew Nelkin says the new screen weighs 400 pounds. If you buy one, and have a wall big enough to fit it, you'll want professional installation.
He also says he wouldn't be surprised to see someone come up with an even bigger screen before long
On the contrary, spanking it has helped me retain my 20/20 vision. I'm 30, so if I'm not blind now from masturbating, I'm never going to go blind as a result of it. People should do it much more.
i thought the new super plasma stuff was better than lcd
well that's proof that i've been majorly out of the loop in the past 2 years. i have no clue what the hell super plasma is... i hope not a marketing term by one of the manf. hopefully it means something... lol

There is nothing at all wrong with Plasma, you just need to be sure you sit more than 5-6 feet from it, or you get the "screen door" effect from being able to pick out the individual pixels. Also a few brands are better than others, but I LOVE mine and would not trade it at all
You do have to be careful the first 60 or so hours about a continual image on screen like a scrolling stock ticker, or if you use it on a PC, the menu bars. After about 60 hours though there isn't much chance of burn in, and the average half-life of the screen is 80,000 hours of use - meaning where the picture will only be half as bright as when you bought it new. So it would take over 8 years of non-stop use to cut the picture brightness in half. Greys are sharper and blacks are deeper and richer than LCD, and you have a better viewing angle (you know how LCD's and some projections you cannot see the picture unless you are almost dead in front of it).
Cons - Due to the technology you have to go big if you go Plasma, nothing in the range of the 30's (in inches). Plasma's pull a LOT more juice, about 3-4 times more than an LCD when in use, but standby mode takes nothing when it's not in use.
