There is a guy who lives somewhere near my neighborhood that has a silver coupe with aero and a black leather bra. I think it looks horrible. Any other opinions?
I had a black leather bra on my black G that I put on only for road trips. I think it looks pretty nice; certainly better than the clear bra that is on the hood. I've always been a fan of the leather bras though.

I've never liked bras in general...sure, they protect the car, but who cares, you can't see it anyway if the bra is on. This newfangled clear thingie is intriguing, though...I haven't seen one up close, but I'm picturing a tacky-looking plastic wrapper. Does anyone have pictures in the gallery?
Also, if I care enough to wash & detail every week, am I an idiot for NOT using a bra?
I like the push up ones, but they also have those ones that are kinda like mesh... those are nice, cuz you can see through them...
Also I've mastered taking them off... but is it me or are the front clasps harder than the rear ones?[bigeyes]

I had one once on an old Bronco, but I don't like them. It seems like they will inevitably scuff the paint. Then every time it rains you have to take them off to dry. More of a pita, imo.
Black on black works okay for me, but only because it's essentially hidden.
I don't think the same would hold true for the other colors. The thought of leather trying to match the color/texture of sheet metal just doesn't do a whole lot for me.
Clear bra is definitely interesting, but I'd have to see one up close and in person before I decide to do it. I've seen plenty of photos, but I don't think they really give you a good idea of what it actually looks like. Will probably be different on the different colors as well.
I used to have one on my Integra, but that didn't last very long. I liked the way it looked initially (this was several years ago), but then it started getting all ripped up and was a pain to wash around so I just got rid of it.
I hear ya....I've got the same issues...Just noticed these tiny little spots on my front-end from road debris, which chips the paint right off to the black plastic...Only I would notice it, but over time I'm sure they will grow considerably in number...Want to do something before there is a million of these...My worry with the clear bra is how crappy it may look 2+ years from now...
