yea im not a fan of it, personally i like it more simple but if its to match her dress, it will look good.
if u change the color of the tie, white may not look bad for the tux itself. but if u arleady own this tux, go with it so u can save money on the rental and get more parts for the G
yeah i own it. it's not a tux though, it's a linen blazer with linen pants. a white tie would be nice, but it wont go with the dress. im hoping the scarf will pull her, and my look together. if anything, i'll just pass on it, and give it to her; but im starting to like it.
I disagree, I think the color is great and it looks good on you. Color is always good and better than white - there's no way I'd wear a white tie with a white scarf unless I was wearing wing tips, a pimp stripe suite and doing a roaring 20s themed halloween party.
If you had a blue suit, you could take care of all your problems. Once you get a little bit older, you will realize that a man needs 3 suits minimum. I have 5 and that's very modest. It is difficult to match the black with a solid blue tie unless you go with a white shirt. And if you do, you look like an aspiring Republican or a Federal Agent depending on the shoes.

If it isn't the exact color of her dress you could wear a different color tie. If it is too far off from her dress it will look funny.
