Wouldn't do any good, my leg gets terribly sore when I tried to run, I have some useless muscles there, now when the amputate, they try to connect the muscle somewhere, like into a bone, so it still has an attachement to work the muscle, in my day, they just let them atrophe. I don't get sore riding the bike on most days. That guy is probably is probably in the minority of amputees, damn it, LOL!

I started just a few weeks ago, thought it would be a good place to get used to the clipless pedals, but I'm going to keep on going, it's a far better cardio workout than anything in the gym for me.

I've never done an aerobic class, not sure what you get your heart rate up to, but this sure does it, and I put a lot into my actual bike riding as well, mix all this with the gym so I don't get burnt out like before.
