Well after skimming through the other thread about our troll, I found a post from superdude that is just as effective as banning a troll. 6MT has been more laid back about most of our postings than the other g35 sites and thats what makes this site great. I'm not sure about the history of banning members on this site, but as some of you have stated, we do not want to start banning memebers, so I suggest we follow superdude, and just use the ignore function by clicking on the link above.

Works great for me. Haven't seen anything that idiot wrote since I added him. Too bad that nothing will be done and others will see his behavior as something tolerated and accepted on this forum. I don't care about the shit talking honestly but there are lines that are just not to be crossed. Might as well put a banner for the KKK on here and tell the people that even if you spread freedom of hate we'll tolerate you, BUT just be warned we'll just ignore you mister so watch your step. Pity that some people just don't see the big picture in this.
Thanks for this post uhoh. It's a cool feature we have now where you can just ignore the user and you won't see anything the person has posted. Almost as effective as banning someone.
Also to respond to comments regarding banning on this site, yes we are more lenient than most G35 sites. That's what we have felt makes this site great! We have had many trolls/shit talkers in the past and rightfully dealt with them by letting nature take its course if you will. However many posters have been warned and constant trolling with no meaningful posts WILL constitute a ban if the mods feel it's getting out of hand.
We do appreciate everyones comments/concerns regarding the site. It has helped make it what it is today and lets try to keep it that way.
thats so weird...when I changed the link in the OP, and when i clicked on it it took me to the "add buddy" page, then when i click on your link it took me to the "ignore list"
it says Add Buddy after you have already blocked him
I find it a bit funny that if I decide to ignore just 3 members (which would constitute about 0.0005% of the registered members) I wouldn't be able to see just over 16% of the total posts on this site ... and sadly I'm guessing that percent went up while I was doing the math and writing this. Now the million dollar question ... who can name the 3 whores who make up such an alarming number ... and sorry smoke, you're not one of them but close enough that I might count you in a future calculation
