I know it is all fun and games, it just seems so worthless. I haven't participated since the first page of the MOAP and then I decided not to.

I get the impression it is just a post count war or everyone is bored... correct me if I am wrong.

The problem is I no longer bother coming into this part of the forum cuz it is a waste of my time. Anyone else feel that way?

Actually, I hear ya on this one...so I don't go into the *OAP. There's plenty of other stuff to keep me busy. Yeah, it does give a post count boost to those who do participate, but so what?

I think that you will find that most of us who do participate in *OAPs would actually have high post counts in the first place because we all stay active in the other parts of the board. Yes it does run up our posts counts. And I am sure that if VQ made them not count towards our post counts then the *OAPs may not be as popular, but it is pretty much a way for us to get our shits and giggles.[lol]

Right. I don't think anyone's doing it just to up their post counts. And even if they are, so what? It's just a number. After 2 days, I could tell who contributed to this forum without checking their numbers. No big deal.

I agree 100%. It strikes me as a postcount++ situation and adds little to no real content to the site.

This is why it takes place in an "off topic" forum. It's easy enough to ignore if you don't want to participate. And I could care less about post count. The fact that anyone could take the whole "post war" seriously is insulting.

I too agree with this as well. One of them is fine...but starting to put multiple is getting a little ridiculous people.

Chaz hit the nail on the head; I didn't care when it was just the MOAP, but now that there are 3 posts goign it seems kinda over the top.

To each his own, I'll just stay out of this forum.
