hmm that is a good question. but from what i remember nothing else "fell of the car" or "flew out of the car" my brother said if the belt is not tight enough the pulley is just kind of loose and apparently the belt tried rotating and that just gave the pulley the initial acceleration to "fly". i dont know. when we open it up to look at it in a month or so i will show you all pictures of the rest of the damage

Either way, there are bolts that keep the pulley in place blue. It shouldn't have just flew off.

No option for a rental or another 'beater' to get you through?

well that is what i thought. but i think my brother wants me to not freak out too much and keeps telling me that it is "normal". i dont think anythng coming off of your car is normal. its a sign you need a new one.

Do i hear Subaru Legacy GT?

who wants to buy me one?

blue, I'll take my leg off, wear some old clothes, and go sit at a busy place with a sign that says "Veteran Needs Help" and I'll send you the proceeds for a new car! LOL, so, doesn't your BF care about his Audi being abused by weather?

My ex-boyfriends father had one and we used to take it for long road trips. and i drove it once to pennsylvania through a horrible snow storm and the thing just amazed me. The 2006 one is 260HP (same engine as the STI) very spacious on the inside (huge back seat - hint hint ) and it looks really hot (IMO). I just think that eventually i will have to get a 4 door car and other than the M5 (which is way way out of anything i could ever afford) i dont like anything else but the new Legacy.

so are you gonna buy me one?

no he doesnt seem to care much, he has been driving it all winter, through snow and salt. and if i do hear him ever complain i will immediatly jump and say "oh then what the hell do you need that quattro for" ... since he is always saying "yeah i like the G but only if it was all wheel drive, i cant have a car that is not"

Well after we make up for your time away, we will discuss getting you the Legacy. And we can break in that spacious back seat (hint hint).

Wow! It has the STI engine. Not bad. And to think, I was laughing at some guy that revved me up in one of those the other day!

Same hear. If the STI/Evo was around when I got my 2nd SI, I would have gotten one.
