So this Friday was officially my last wise day. I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out this Friday afternoon. I got full anesthesia so I don’t quite remember anything and other than being unable to eat, or talk I guess I’m fine so far.
It has been one horribly long weekend, my face has doubled its size, and my dad calls me "the little pig" now. I just can't wait until this nightmare is over.
My doctor said that it is better to take them out when I’m young (my early 20s or teen years) than wait until later. And i guess he is right, plus once I survive this I will most likely appreciate doing it so early on.
How old were most of you when you got your out? ... If you did at all
i got mine out at 16. i had a different experience though. the guy that took mine out was the dental guy for the Philadelphia Flyers Hockey team, he had his own pratice, and was really good. anyway, since you had to fast before, after i got out i asked my mom to take mine to DUnkin Donuts hahaha
so i ate a lot after cuz i eat a lot, and i had to go back the next day because some food got stuck in the cut in my gums.
I got mine out at 16 too. Was one of the lucky ones with no problems. They cut mine into pieces before they took them out so they did not have to yank them out whole. Good luck with the recovery, it'll be back to normal quickly, no worries.

All 4 cut out at 17, no pain to speak of but I was swollen up pretty bad for 2 weeks before I could start eating solid foods.

You poor thing! I had mine taken out when I was 23-ish and wouldn't do anything less than general anesthesia. Also swollen terribly for a few days and it is a pain to deal with the sockets and taking care of them. However, on the bright side, you will be glad you did it someday soon and will feel better too. It only seems like a long recovery. Just make sure you follow all the directions carefully and don't get dry socket.
Besides, I've seen your pictures kiddo... You'll be back to modeling in no time!
stop hating. I'm under some very strong medications right now and I’m very easily affected so i may have to send some of my Bulgarian mafia friends to take "care of you".

in all fairness...i think he was referring to hexx...if you need more fentanyl, let me know.

ok maybe u r right. i do admit that these days i'm a little slow and a lot of things dont seem to make sense to me. i really hope this is temporary and result of all the meds i'm taking. plus i had to call the emergency line a few hours back because i had a fever so they made me take some extra medications ... and now i'm really overdrugged
I had mine out somewhat late ... thinking I was around 26? All I had was local anesthetic with Novocaine. For some reason my body requires 3x the normal Novocaine dosage to work properly. I find it amusing that dentists don't seem to believe me when I tell them initially. That is until I twitch in pain as they hit my nerves. Lame @ them!
I also had ALL four wisdoms out at the same time. The entire ordeal wasn't bad at all for me. The dentist did dislocate my lower jaw trying to yank one of em. Apparently I have gigantic lower wisdom teeth? I kept a very strict oral hygene routine - constantly flushing my mouth with antiseptics in order to keep the infections away.
