Don't forget to stock up on the Airborne. I was out drinking Friday and mistakenly took a sip off a beer belonging to the chick sitting next to me....the one that was blowing her nose all night long
Anyway, I started feeling a little scratch in my throat so I started taking the Airborne and I think its keeping the bug at bay.
You all do know this is utter bullshit right? a cold bug can't be combatted with sugar pills?
Sorry you were sick dude! I constantly get liitle bugs- the recycled air in a secure facility is AWFUL. Friend of mine is the unbreakable man- literally never gets sick. blows my mind.
I kinda like the occasional wallow in misery and watch bad TV day...

just checking
I tend to agree. However, studies have shown high doses of Vitamin-C (a big part of most of these remedies) having some positive effect on test subjects' immune system, although still far from an exact science. Sometimes the placebo effect is also more affective than anything known to men. So if it makes em feel better ... by all means take it!

Well put.
When I was in boot camp, we used to eat the vitamin C tablets like candy (we weren't alowed real candy) just to have something tasty. They said you just peed out the extra- your body can only absorb so much, beyond that its pointless. Anyway they are orange and tasty...

Yuppers! Vitamin-C is good stuff. It is water soluable, so no chance of overdosing like Vitamin A/B/D, which are fat soluable. I keep a bag of those 500mg chewable tablets in my drawer at work. I use to pop em like candies too, but haven't done so in a while. Incidently, I got sick this Holiday season. Gah!
Alright, gonna go make some expensive pee! *crunch crunch*
