I'm just curious to see how many people prefer to sleep on their Front, Back or Side.
My friend and I were discussing this the other day.
For me, I always either sleep on my front or back. I never sleep on my side. I actually tried to last night, and it felt uncomfortable after like 3 minutes so I just slept normally again.

I would say yes to all. My girlfriend hated me cause I would always be moving around and in the middle of the bed. I'm a light sleeper and very rarely sleep through the night though.

same here, except for the girlfriend part.

Are you familiar with sleep psychology? Here you go...
The Foetus: Those who curl up in the foetus position are described as tough on the outside but sensitive at heart. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax.
This is the most common sleeping position, adopted by 41% of the 1,000 people who took part in the survey. More than twice as many women as men tend to adopt this position. Log (15%): Lying on your side with both arms down by your side. These sleepers are easy going, social people who like being part of the in-crowd, and who are trusting of strangers. However, they may be gullible. The yearner (13%): People who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it. Soldier (8%): Lying on your back with both arms pinned to your sides. People who sleep in this position are generally quiet and reserved. They don't like a fuss, but set themselves and others high standards. Freefall (7%): Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and don't like criticism, or extreme situations. Starfish (5%): Lying on your back with both arms up around the pillow. These sleepers make good friends because they are always ready to listen to others, and offer help when needed. They generally don't like to be the centre of attention.
I'm a yearner, aka side sleeper....I think it may result from years of spooning with my ex wife. Cant sleep on my back 'cause I start snoring, cant sleep on my front cause I don't know what to do with my head (get's sore sitting to one side or the other).

Sorry man, I don't believe much of this. My position sleeping largely depends on where I'm sleeping and how tired I am.
Ever have those moments where you're so tired you just dive on to your bed face first and 30 minutes later wake up? Or when you crash at your friend's pad and you take the couch, you usually sleep on your back or sleep on your side. Ever take a nap at work in somebody's vacant office when that person is off at a jobsite for several days and he's got the quiet office? I have. I've been so tired I've knocked out while lying on my back with my arms across my chest for warmth. In general I either sleep on my side cradling a pillow or on my back but typically I do alternate.
I sleep in all these positions - although I commonly wake in the same position I fell asleep (gotta love the sleep number bed).
The only time I sleep in the "Foetus", or Fetal, position is when I'm cold. I do this on my front, so I end up cutting off circulation to my legs and wake up with my legs completely numb from the knees down.
Pretty much in all positions, including sitting up, standing up and occasionally while doing work!

I could sleep through a Holocaust and wake up peacefully rested. I also fall asleep within about 20 seconds of hopping into bed.
