Totally agree with both of you ... i'd rather have both ^__^ But if I had to choose one, it would definitely be the sleep. Because it sucks after having someone to sleep with to not have them there anymore. I always hated that.

I agree it's nice to have a gal fall asleep in your arms, but... sometimes the shoulder/arm gets numb after an extended period, and that's no good :P

I gotta believe that's a little uncomfortable for the girl though. I'm only comfortable in that position if I'm on my back and she's on my shoulder. If it's the other way around, I can't stay that way for very long.

I think it's very comfortable. No-one ever said it bothered them, maybe I should've asked I never thought it would be uncomfortable for them. Oops.

Don't get me wrong, it's really not uncomfortable. But sometimes we fall asleep that way, and by extended period of time, I mean several hours. That's when the numbness sets in

I'm all over the chart w. this one too - sleeping in various positions. I do however prefer sleeping on my side, but it's not particularily great for my previously injured shoulders (bad rotator cuffs from heavy weight trainings in the past).

+1 @ having someone special to snuggle with in bed ... no doubt about that! Unlike Kloh, I've got it all sorted out with how to sleep with my arm(s) around 'her' w.o. ever getting numbed indefinitely.

I prefer sleeping alone if I am in need of serious, restful sleep. I've never lived with a girl though, so whenever I've had a woman sleeping next to me it's a less common situation than I've become used to.

I agree that the shoulder thing can get somewhat awkward. A girl I used to date a few years ago used to love to fall asleep in my arms anytime we were watching a movie or whatever, which I didn't mind... but then I'd always have to find a slick way to slip her out of there without waking her up so that I could sleep comfortably too.
