Default No water

I woke up this morning and went to make a pot of coffee. To my displeasure I have no running water in all of the above grade rooms in my house. In my basement I am able to get a slow but steady stream. I have no idea what it could be. Our temps got down into the negatives last night but it's not like I turned my furnace off. I don't see any leaks anywhere either. WTF?????

I guess it got colder than I thought last night. A few of my neighbors and friends had the same problem. Luckily I got mine working again without any ill effect as of yet. A couple people had their pipes freeze and burst. DoH!

There's a serious cold trend this weekend. Tonight and tomorrow night are supposed to be unbearably cold.

Usually they say to crank the heat up real high to like 75 or something when it's that cold so that your pipes don't freeze and burst.

Happened to my friend last year because he had this big entertainment room that they used to keep the heat on a very low setting in... and the pipes burst. I think homeowners insurance covered the repair, but they had to get a whole new floor in that room as well as new pipes and they had no heat in that room for like the next 4 months.

Yeah, I got lucky. No leaks that I've detected yet. It almost hit 20 below last night. Got the faucets slightly on and I'm gonna crank the heater tonight.

My tit froze yesterday...8 degrees, forgot to wear my coat.

Glad your pipes didn't burst, jig you would have been screwed. Isn't insulation supposed to stop this? Don't ask me...I do not know.

Damn Susan, I thought you quit going outside topless in winter, wish I'd seen that! I'd have warmed you up!
