Did you see a doctor? Any chance you have a herniated disk - I had one last year and had to do physical therapy as well as heavy meds for muscle spasms and pain which scared me being a recovering addict and all. I did tell the neurologist to fuck off when he said he wanted to cut open my neck...it sounds like lower back for you and that is much better. My best friend J.D. did that when he fucked this crazy awesome girl Beth for 12 straight hours and it took awhile for his lower back to heal. Having big breasts messed up my lower back in early twenties but I went to a chiropractor for that and haven't felt lower back pain since.

Any other symptoms besides back out? Numbness in legs?

Do you feel numbness in either of your legs?? I got rearended and ended up with 2 herniated discs and a third buldging (sp?) disc in my back. I could not sit at all and I was on disability from work for 6 months. I had this shooting pain that went down my left leg too. It really sucked. If you feel any numbness it could be a disc in which case get a CT scan done to confirm this.

If it hurts more when you sit then I suspect that it is definitely a disc problem. I could not sit at all because the pain was excruciating. When you sit, you put more pressure on the discs in your back which is why it would hurt more. LC, I lived on Vicodin for over 6 months for the pain. I almost OD'd once because after a while even that wasn't taking the pain away so I took too many. After that I just took the pain because almost ODing scared the shit out of me.

Hey, girl keep us posted and be careful in case it is a herniated disk. At first I thought mine was muscular and I was told to lift weights by an urgent care doctor who just didn't know any better.

I actually have more stories that don't involve fucking than I have stories that do...but I tend towards a rather naughty balance instead as I am rather bombastic and the other stories I tell just put the men to sleep. I use my blog for the other stories.

Doctor, chiropractor, or shiatsu. You can take your pick. I've never had back problems so I can't help you out from personal experience.

Back problem is not restricted to the old, or even the out of shape. Some people just have bad backs and it stays with them. Unfortunately it takes time and if possible strenghtening of your core muscles to help out your back.

Hexx...I took the pain pills for three days only and went back to work in pain like I have never experienced before. Only at night did I allow myself one muscle relaxer. You want to talk about will power...I now know that no pain will ever take me out if that didn't. Gosh, I guess it has been almost 2 years now. I wanted those pain meds like a baby wants a tit...but I had 6 years clean...I have 8 years as of last week on my birthday.

Glad you survived man!

Very true GZ. The accident I am talking about happened 3 years agao and I still feel the effects of it periodically. The numbness in my left leg comes and goes and it is weaker than my right leg.

You just took the pian!?!?!?! Damn, there is no way I could do that. I was in such horrible pain that w/o the Vicodin to take the edge off, I would practically be in tears it hurt so bad. I got through it though and I would not want to wish a herniated disc on my worse enemy. It is without a doubt the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. I was bedridden (sp?) for about 2-3 months before I was even able to start moving around again and living a somewhat normal life. Luckily I didn't have a gf at the time cuz there is no way I would have been able to take care of her needs!

If you think you might have a bulging disk, not totally herniated then you could try naproxin as an antiinflamatory. Do you own a heat pad or ice pack - alternating is suggested though I only use heat because I like heat. Do you feel spasms in any part of your back muscles?
