it's only been done twice, and that's when it's been waxed. otherwise, i go to laserwash, and spend an hour in the parking lot taking care of the rest myself. believe me, i called the carwash before i went, told them how big my wheels were, and asked what was on the tracks they put my car on. the one i took it to's tracks are rubber with a teflon coating sprayed on them. the bottom of the tire is enclosed on both sides with that surface. i'm just as anal about my ride as everyone else here is. if someone puts a dent in my rims, i'll put a dent in their ass.

Oh, I thought you meant you were doing it yourself, takes me far longer than lunch to wash and wax my car, several hours actually for both! BTW, when I wash my car, I use a cordless outdoor blower to blow thw water out of the mirrors, door handles and other crevices. There is a good car wash close to me that I once in a while take my car, only when it's too cold, and then I just have them do the exterior, and I come home and "detail" it and clean the interior myself, no complaints the few time I have gone. Never go when its busy!!!
