This isn't even worth getting mad about. Dude just thought of a really interesting tag line that would get people to read his article without actually coming up with anything substantive. He doesn't support the troops- well the only concrete example he comes up with to support this idea is no parades. Well thats fucking brilliant. Becuase there are so many ticker-tape parades these days through times square. Stopping them will really make a point about the war.
Let me preface this with the idea I DONT AGREE. But, if you actually wanted to make this point, this guy should grow a set and say that taxpayers shouldn't pay for retirement/great healthcare/immediate return. And you should spit on them. Cmmon buddy, if your point is that the troops are essentially a willing tool of an immoral policy, then they should be spit on for adhereing to it. I mean they have a choice- canada, jail. If is really that immoral then they should be treated like criminals. I DONT AGREE WITH THIS. But if the dude wants to say supporting them is supporting policy, then he should actually make that fucking point. And then we would have something to argue about.
As it is, I refuse to get worked up over a tag line that essentially says "I don't support the troops" but substantively ends with nothing more than "well, I support them , but don't want parades"
Cmmon guys, don't waste your energy arguing with a non-arguement
