Yes! Work is where I do most of my postwhoring! I know how you feel about falling behind. But I always get caught up when it is slow.
2 hours! I had to cut back myself for awhile and still swear this place off for weeks at a time. Not because of work though...more because I have a lot of very close friends who send email all day long asking for advise and amusement and wanting me to save my best stories and energy for them. I actually had to leave work to go console one friend the other day. Living in her big house in the country with her wonderful husband and great life. You guessed it! Mental breakdown! Found out her beautiful teenage daughter has a mashocistic boyfriend who made her turn semi lesbian to win him back and at 15 the girl was in her bed and to top it off she has been cutting herself. She sends me a note - I need your help there isn't anyone else who will know what to do.
But still we get a few tasty topics in here from time to time that draw me back in.

I do sales and marketing for a software reseller (basically like a mail order company) so i'm in front of the computer all day long. Being able to browse all day keeps me sane and helps pass the time when customers are blabbering away about stuff that they really don't need to tell me
i'm on the computer all day. i just multi-task....when my jobs are running, i throw them in the background and then bounce back and forth between work and the net. as long as i'm typing, i look busy!!!
ok, now i need to bounce back because the tps reports are done running!
I work for my family in the transportation industry so I have slow time and busy time...normally I multitask but there are times where I have to get off, like now..
Network and Systems Administration for me so unless I'm installing new hardware or troubleshooting something in the field I'm on a computer all day. I'll have a browser with several tabs open, IRC/AIM/MSN going and several other apps; just bouncing between them. I don't even bother trying to disguise my goofing off and my supervisor and boss don't care so long as I get my job done.

I work in the insurance industry so I am on the computer all day also. Quoting, writing policies, making changes to policies. Just like everyone else, I multi-task. 6MT is pretty much always minimized on my desktop.
