msb: already enjoying it :] i never realized how convenient it is to have a touch screen nav.. and the bluetooth is so useful. the mark levinson surround system is excellent as well. hopefully it wont need to get its driver side window motor replaced and rattle issue fixed like my coupe did.
haha, i was just messing with you. i didn't have time for a creative response, lol.
the touchscreen nav i do miss my 2002 Maxima had it. but because of the up/down design of the G nav, there isn't room for the electronics of a touchscreen display for the G. i love the up/down design... but also love touchscreen, so that's tough.
bluetooth is an amazing technology, but my headset and phone already do it.
now... the Mark Levinson system... i have not heard that system... but ML home stuff is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! Blose sucks my balls (oops, i'm sorry) but yeah i hate my system in the G even tho it is better than most car systems you hear. i guess i am just spoiled by my H/K and high-end Infinity systems in my house. but yeah, the Mark Levinson... that's killer. VERY jealous.
enjoy it man, i was just messing with you.

haha.. i thought the bose stock was decent.. i replaced my stock speakers with some components and ran it with the stock head unit and dls amp.. sounded pretty good. never got around to ordering the dual din dash thing.. was too costly to consider.
the joystick wasn't that bad once i got used to it.. but i don't htink i can ever go back to it now that i have a touchscreen. oh yeah.. i cant fit my snowboard in the car either.. the rear seats dont fold down/remove.. D:
I compared the IS350 with the G (automatic, 280hp) before, I even test drove the IS 350 too (and the G). I liked the quietness of the IS350, it's a very luxurious car with awesome audio setup and good handling too (acceleration and cornering). However, I disliked the steering wheel of the IS being so light and there is lag from the trasmission because it is still an automatic (didn't have problem with the G auto that I test drove). The IS doesn't have the sexy exhaust note (almost none) that the G has too.
There is also a really annoying thing of toyota that they want you to pay more to upgrade to some common stuff, like the HID for example. If you want the HID for IS350 you would need to spend $6200 to get the only 1 luxury package that includes the HID. Paying 40k for a car, you would expect to have HID since it's such a common thing now.
Overall, IS350 and G35 both have their pros and cons. If you like a car with luxury, go with the IS. If you like a performance car, G would be better.
Damn good point SFG34Power. I would think that paying $40k+ for a car that it should come w/ the HID Standard, unless of course if it's a Mercedes or Bimmer. Then again, those are the companies Lexus is aiming for so it's probably why they did it. Whatever, the car is not my style...a little on the boring side other than the cool gadgets
Doesn't matter, in 6 months he'll have a new car anyway.
lol what are you planning to get superdude?
and oh, the IS350 has knee airbag, that's one of the cool things i like about the IS. but boy, there would be a lot of airbags to replace if you ever get into an accident. the IS also cost more on insurance than the G, can you believe that?
