I think so... at least I would hope so because almost all of my friends are guys and the friends that I feel comfortable talking to about almost anything are the guys.
It's hard though when you meet someone and you just want them as a friend and they want more...

I know it's pathetic of us guys, but here's my honest opinion. Let's say you have 10 male friends and a guy has 10 female friends. If you offered yourself to your 10 male friends, 7-8 would take you up on it or want to. If the guy offered himself to the 10 female friends, he'd be lucky if 1-2 would accept or want to.
i've found that women have more "rules" when it comes to dating. i've had a lot of girls tell me that they'd never hook me up with their friends or that once i've dated them, their entire circle of friends is off limits 'cause of some rule that they have about that shit. you're right about your ratios though, but unless you can hit it like rod can, i doubt yours can touch mine. haha.

exactly! I don't know why but it's pretty difficult to find things to talk about with most females. I have a couple friends whose girlfriends I get along with but when we go out the conversation is mostly:
How are you? How is work? What have you been doing lately? ... then there is nothing else to talk about. We don't really have any common interests so there is only so much that we can say.
Kind of sucks. Sometimes it would be nice to be able to just hang out with a bunch of female friends but that doesn't ever really happen.
