I am just curious...I saw this in the view who is online:

Google Spider Viewing User Profile

What is a Google Spider? It wouldn't let me click on it so it is not a guest...

Just GoogleBot doing his job. Must have found and followed the link on the old board. Google, Yahoo and MSN spiders are the heaviest users of bandwidth on 6MT. They come through from time to time, suck up the content and then it'll show up in the index in a day or two. The new forum software just exposes them rather than saying they are guests.

Why not use a robots.txt to limit them?

We want them to come through and suck up the posts. It allows web searches to find us. We have used the robots file in the past to limit certain areas.

I noticed that when you make an edit to a post before someone has posted behind you, it will note that edit, before this was not done unless someone posted after your submittal. Is this something that can be changed?

nice i love vbulletin. maybe enable signatures (unless you disabled them on purpose).. uncap picture limit or don't limit them to just 4 (smilies are considered pictures as well). enable the wysiwyg editor for easier picture posting (copy and pasting pictures from browser windows).

Is the Audio section missing some threads, it's only showing 20.

Change the display period to more than a month (at the bottom of the thread list).

Not sure if the problem is my default browser - Mozilla.

I try to post at the beginning of a new session and it acts as if I am not logged in no matter how I hit reply or quote. Sometimes it relents and lets me post. Otherwise I pull up Explorer and that will usually do it.

Any thoughts, Brad?

Shouldn't be Mozilla as I've been using Firefox with no issues. You might try clearing your cookies and logging in again.

Even though it's under the image size limit, the file size is still too big so it won't accept it. It has to be under 9.8 KB and it looks like yours is 12.68 KB (12986 bytes) right now.
