Damn I never really thought of it that way but that is defeinitely a good point about the alternate timelines. They can honestly go in several directions with how they are playing things out. Its there job to keep us guessing the entire time so we want to come back and watch the show.

So from your above statement we think that Jacks father is alive? I know Jack spoke to the head of surgery and said call my father down here right now and asked the pharmacy to call him for the prescription. Thats what led me to believe he was somehow alive. Not sure how the hell that works though because his ass was dead already.

On Ben being in the coffin anything is possible. It seemed to be a predominately black neighborhood so thats why I was guessing more of a Michael or Walt connection but who the hell knows. They probably used that to throw us off the trail anyway.

Good call, I didn't catch the predominantly black neighborhood reference, but would Walt have been at the funeral (unless of course, he was killed on the island.) Ben, is the most logical person, but it could also be Juliet (although I would suspect that her sister would have come and visit). It could also be Locke too (and based on his current actions, he won't have any friends in the near future.) It has to be someone that Jack had an emotional connection to, but Kate didn't (at least, not in the future, which means the writers could pretty much twist the script anyway they want.)

I was sitting around with some of my LOST geeks yesterday, and had an epiphany. I believe the reason that they have shown the couple of "flash-forwards" and will most likely show more of them is because either this season or next season, the Oceanic 6 physically do get off the island, and then the spend the last 2 seasons trying to relocate the island and help rescue those left behind. It makes total sense, and I just can't see the writers stretching out 2 1/2 more seasons of still being on the island.

^^^Well as far as who is in the coffin it can pretty much be anybody because we still haven't seen
A. Who gets off
B. What they did in the time between current time on the island and that funeral. Anyone coulda did some bad shit to them before they got off.

As far as your Lost theory aout going back to the island. I can't be to sure about that. Seems like the main premise of the show is being on the island. I do agree though about them having a hard time stretching more time on the island.
No matter what they will always have us guessing.

Last nights episode was pretty good. They manage to scam us out of main character flashes by adding some new characters.
Anyone else make it a point not to watch Eli Stone afterwards lol

Yeah, I watched it. Not very good. Frankly, I thought PUSHING DAISIES was a better show, but I think that show is off the air now.
