I heard that the first season is only worth watching. Some people claim that it jumped the shark a long time ago. That true?

Granted I still think season 1 was the best but the show hasn't jumped for me

First season was really good, second season I thought was better, 3rd season spent more time on back stories and really focusing on just Jack, Kate and Sawyer, but it was still good.

I'm just disappointed that because of the writer's strike, there is currently only 8 complete episodes. That gives them about 2 months to finish any additional episodes before the season is over.

... i know, this not really a spoiler, just rumor... but i heard the future doesn't bode too well for Sayid either!!

Damn... Eko, Michael, Walt, dang... we can't get a bligh on this show... but then again... doesn't seem as though anyone really has a chance!!

I didn't fully watch the one-hour "catchup" pre season showing last night, did they discuss, who's funeral Jack went to in the flash forward? I caught that the funeral parlor's name meant "flash forward" or something like that.
