I need some date ideas...

Let's hear them.


I was thinking of possibly Ice Skating. Something to get me back in the game and wear the rust off my playa skillz.

Dude, Ice Skating (especially on a first date) sends one of two messages:

1. I am so desperate to get in your pants I will do incredibly homosexual activities that might make you like me. After this how bout we watch gilmore girls and eat ice cream, but only after we go swimsuit shopping...

2. You are homosexual.


Trust me, not cool. Tried and true, movies are great...for something different, go for a hike, or do something outdoors....go catch a football/basketball game....shop together and make dinner.....wine tasting....

just a few ideas...

Take her to a movie, that way you don't have to talk to her.
And after the movie's over, you can discuss how much you either loved or hated it.

Okay, I gotta step in. Ice Skating=gay, shop together/wine tasting=perfectly hetero?

I say just take her to dinner. If you are really good together you will have great conversation and she will come away thinking it was a great date. If you aren't right for each other, it won't happen regardless of how "creative" the date might be.

If you're just trying to sleep with her just take her somewhere you can buy her lots of drinks.

I should clarify. It's more of a hangout with a girl who likes me.

I don't necessarily think of this as a date. We'll see.

I actually like skating around it's fun, cus I used to play hockey and shit a lot when I was younger and haven't skated in many years.

Come on.. what are some good ideas. So far you guys have given me nothing but generic ideas that everyone does!

Well not totally straight, granted, but at least not quite as flaming as ice skating.. I mean Paul Giovanni is one sexy man, and he pulled it off quite well.....

I was just saying if it was past the first date, or they wanted something a bit out of the typical range.

Plus, girl agrees to make dinner at your place with you= totally going to get laid......

everyone does these things for a reason- they are not stupid. Things that are not this, usually are.

anyway, its your game... I am just saying that as a chick, overly creative dates by dudes I am not even boyfriend/girlfriend with are relaly more creepy more than anything...

I have to agree with you here Navy, I think dinner is great first date, a way for both to get comfortable with each other, and for sure, no matter what you do, if you aren't right for each other, nothing will help!
